Building a complete musical universe—brand,
product and narrative—rooted in uncanny Americana.
OVERVIEW
Bootleg Hymn is an experimental music project rooted in post-internet Americana. I led creative direction and digital execution, establishing a cohesive visual and narrative system across artwork, motion, typography, and social presence.
The album is presented through a purpose-built digital environment that treats listening as an immersive act rather than a transactional one. Design decisions privilege mood, pacing, and ambiguity, positioning the site as part of the work itself—not merely a container for it.
Public-facing content extends this approach, using abstraction and fragmentation to frame distribution as performance while maintaining strict aesthetic continuity.
The result is a unified brand, experience, and narrative—positioning Bootleg Hymn as a concept-driven creative universe rather than a conventional music release.
